Head Teacher's Message - 13th October 2017

Dear Parents and Carers,

It’s been a fun start to October with the Reception and Nursery children enjoying Percy’s new lodgings and Year 2 displaying exemplary behaviour during their Tesco tasting day! Thanks to the PTA donations for the new early years outdoor resources! We look forward to welcoming you at Parents’ Evening on Wednesday 25th October.

Whole School - LFC Tournament

An enjoyable morning of football was enjoyed by our school team.
We played against some strong teams from across Merseyside.
The boys were awarded prizes for participation and were fortunate to be photographed alongside the genuine Premier League Trophy.
Maybe one day…some of you may be winning it?

Whole School - Liverpool Cup Winners

Well done to the St Thomas The Martyr football team.
The girls played with passion and determination beating three teams to reach the final against Woodlands Primary.
After a goal less draw, they went on to win the cup on penalties. After the half term we play the winner of the Ormskirk tournament.
Good luck to our team!

Whole School - Football League & Europa Cup Final

Over the past three weeks the Year 5 and 6 school football team have participated in the football league at the JMO.
After some hard fought matches they were entered into the Europa Cup final week. Our school captain, Alexander, scored a succession of wonder goals which secured our place in the final.
Despite a brave performance we were beaten 2-1 and were awarded runners up medals on the night.
Well done team St Thomas!

Nursery - Harvest

On Wednesday Dawn came in to talk to us about Harvest.
She brought lots of vegetables and told us a story about a man who needed some food but no one would share with him.
We learnt about how important it is to share our food with everyone.

2013-14 Parent / Carer Questionnaire Feedback.....

Mrs. Christy has been fantastic with teaching our son, please keep her in Nursery for when our next son starts school!
